Some moments don’t just happen, they leave an imprint.

Editor's Note
In life, some moments don’t just happen, they leave an imprint. They move perspectives, evoke emotions, and shape the way we see the world. A conversation that lingers in the back of your mind. A place that carries an unspoken energy. A passing second that holds more meaning than an entire day. I’ve always been drawn to these moments, not just for what they are, but for what they reveal. Storytelling, for me, has never been confined to words. It’s in the details; the unspoken expressions, the quiet shifts in energy, the way an experience unfolds. I first saw this in theatre, where the right movement, pause, or shift in tone could pull an audience into an entirely different world.
Later, I found it in branding, where businesses didn’t just sell products, they created narratives, shaped identities, and built something people could connect with. Now, I see it in video. The ability to take an experience, frame it with intention, and preserve it in a way that makes it last. This is Visual Narratives; a collection of moments that have shaped me, stories that define how I see the world, and experiences that deserve to be told. These aren’t just reflections of what I do, but of what moves me. The emotions, the shifts, the lessons, captured not for perfection, but for meaning. If these stories make you pause, feel, or see something differently, then they have done what they were meant to do. I hope you enjoy the issue.

A freshman's first fall in Bloomington
Met Gala Theme
Through the Looking Glass
For an organization I was applying to, I was asked to create a Met Gala theme. I chose Through the Looking Glass, inspired by Alice Through the Looking Glass. This theme is all about stepping back into our childhood, dressing as the characters we once adored and bringing that magic to life in a grand, whimsical ball.
For our very first freshman-year assignment, we were tasked with exploring a local town event in Bloomington and creating a presentation. Instead of a traditional PowerPoint, I leaned into my love for visual storytelling and created a video inspired by Taylor Swift’s All Too Well music video. Capturing the crisp autumn air, cozy moments with friends, and the magic of Fall Fest, this project became more than just an assignment it was a reflection of new beginnings and the beauty of fleeting moments.

More Than Just Things
Luxury Through
My Eyes
For my Spring 2025 study abroad class on luxury brands in France, I reflected on what luxury means to me. It’s a word that has changed throughout my life, once about things, now about experiences. But one thing has always stayed the same: luxury is about the people I share it with.
